From that party on to now, I had been thinking about Light everyday and every night now, even about having a fantasy life together! I like him, but I wasn’t in love with him. There was still something about him that held me from ever loving him. Was it the way how he treats Misa? Was it his smugness? Was it because I hardly see any personal similarities between me and him? Whatever it was, I definitely won’t force myself to love him. It should come naturally and if it happens, it happens.

Although I am not keen at the fact that Misa has to be there, I was still very ecstatic about seeing Light again. So I wanted to look my best for my clothing style, which is a tomboyish yet feminine ensemble, since being girly wasn’t my thing. I love being different. A roommate of mine dropped me off at their well decorated chic high-rise complex as I began looking for their apartment number.

Once I found it, I knocked on the door with my right hand and held a present in my other hand. I didn’t know what Light likes, so I got him a really nice dress shirt that looks like his type of style.
